The Revin Short Shifter for the Toyota GR Yaris is a brand-new development and now brings typical Revin quality to the small rally Toyota. The system is not just a shortened lever, but a complete short shifter with its own assembly, clean guidance, and high-quality mechanics.

The gear lever sits significantly closer to the driver and reduces the shift throw by approx. 40%. This makes gear changes shorter, more direct, and more precise. This makes a big difference, especially during spirited driving, track days, or simply for more driving pleasure in everyday life.

Chassis-Mounted Design

Unlike the original gear lever, Revin relies on a chassis-mounted design. This creates a stiffer connection for the shift mechanism, reduces movement and flex, and makes the shifting feel significantly clearer.

The result is more direct feedback during gear changes and a much more mechanical driving feel. This makes the GR Yaris feel even more like a motorsport vehicle without the need for a complete interior conversion.

Self-Centering Spring and Gear Lockout

The integrated self-centering mechanism supports the return of the gear lever to the center position. This makes the shifter feel more defined and makes it easier to hit the gates cleanly.

In addition, the Revin Short Shifter features a gear lockout mechanism. The reverse gear is deliberately selected via the ring under the shift knob. This ensures greater safety during rapid gear changes and reduces the risk of accidentally shifting into the wrong gate.

High-Quality European Manufacturing

Revin manufactures its short shifters in Europe, utilizing high-quality materials such as 6082 aluminum and stainless steel components. The workmanship is correspondingly high-quality and fits very well into a sportily tuned vehicle, both visually and technically.

Shift Knob Variants

We offer the Revin Short Shifter for the GR Yaris as standard with two shift knob variants that we keep in stock: OG-Style and Grip – both in black. Additionally, we can offer you Alcantara, "Watt," and thermal knobs, which do not absorb temperature, as well as countless colors. However, we do not have these in stock and they require a longer lead time; feel free to send us a quick message about this :)

The ThermoShift knobs are made of POM plastic, keeping them pleasantly cool in the summer and pleasantly warm in the winter compared to classic metal knobs. The Alcantara variant, on the other hand, offers an especially high-quality look and a very comfortable grip.

Why a Short Shifter?
