Important: This support only supports your pedal travel and has no effect on the actual braking performance!
But why do you need this at all?
You can easily check this out with a second person in a self-experiment: Open the hood and look closely at the movement of the brake cylinder when the second person really steps on it. The brake cylinder and the entire device move backwards by several millimeters!
This support is designed to reduce this movement and, especially in combination with steel braided brake hoses and good brake fluid, you'll almost think you have a new brake! Fun, but the braking feel is noticeably better.
Installation instructions: It's best to remove your strut brace (if you have one)! This makes the job much easier. And make sure that the screws don't fall into the engine compartment.
