GreenFuchs | Baffled Oilcatchcan/oil collection container| GT/GR86 & BRZ I/II

We offer you our GreenFuchs oil collection tray, a perfect fit for the Toyubaru. The collection system comes with all necessary mounting hardware and is specifically designed for the FA20 and FA24 engines (hence the two models).

The kit includes:

• Oil collection container with integrated filter
• Vehicle-specific mount
• Suitable hoses for your vehicle
• 1/2" connections and other installation material

This oil catch can allows you to filter and collect blow-by vapors from the air before they damage your injectors with carbon deposits. But please don't panic! While the problem is quite common with direct injection engines, it's relatively minor with the FA20/FA24. It falls more into the category of "precautionary measures for engine longevity," as it simply prevents unwanted deposits from forming in your engine. You'll know you have a problem if an excessive amount of oil has collected in the air filter housing.

Delivery information: You snapped up the catch can for Gen1 (GT86/BRZ I) so quickly that we're currently waiting for a new shipment. We expect to deliver it to you from mid-March onwards.

Especially with turbocharged vehicles, the situation is somewhat different; here, this solution and possibly a second catch can directly on the crankcase should definitely be considered.

This oil catch can is a bit more expensive than a universal solution, but it's specifically designed to fit our vehicle. It's also a two-chamber system with a bronze filter and a baffle plate to reliably separate the oil from the exhaust gases. The system is designed to easily fit the 10mm and 12mm mounting points on the intake manifold.

This catch can collects the oil and prevents it from returning to the oil pan. Therefore, the catch can should be emptied regularly. Initially, every 1,500 km is recommended; over time, you'll develop a feel for how much oil collects.

Installation is quite simple and takes less than 30 minutes, following the same procedure as for the Mishimoto. This is what it looks like installed:
