Delivery time note: You practically snatched our first delivery right out of our hands :) We're delighted, of course, but we'll have to wait a bit for the next shipment of underbody struts. These are expected to arrive in mid-September—you can, of course, pre-order now :)

What's in it – and what does it do?
In front:
– 2x wishbone reinforcements: replace the standard plates – for more direct steering behavior and better feedback
– 1x main strut behind the engine: massive increase in torsional rigidity in the front axle area

Rear:
– 2x axle stiffeners: additional cross connections for more stability when accelerating out
– 1x rear strut behind the bumper: reduces movement in the rear of the vehicle – ideal for sporty driving

And mounting material

Why exactly these points?
TRD already demonstrated with the first 86 platform how effective targeted underbody reinforcements can be. We use similar approaches – supplemented by our own practical experience – and thus achieve a noticeable improvement in driving dynamics. Manufacturers such as Hardrace and Cusco also pursue similar stiffening concepts – although often not as a complete solution. And certainly not at this price.

Topic registration

Strut bars are not subject to registration in Germany ( as the nice folks at TÜV SÜD even confirmed on Instagram ). However, some inspectors register them just to be on the safe side; our strut bars are solidly constructed and in no way inferior to those from other manufacturers. However, we don't provide a certificate either.

In our opinion, this applies to all stiffening struts, including those on the underbody. If you're unsure, please discuss this with your inspector BEFOREHAND. If in doubt, Toyota also offers the TRD underbody braces, which confirm that no disadvantages are to be expected from additional underbody reinforcement. The strength is ensured by the original bolt-on points, and the material itself is solid.
