The JXB driveshaft center support carrier replaces the soft factory driveshaft mount on your GR Yaris with a firmer support. This prevents the center bearing from deflecting as much under load. This results in a more direct drivetrain response when accelerating and shifting. The existing ball bearing remains in place.

Details

  • Fits Toyota GR Yaris XP210 from 2020 onwards according to the manufacturer
  • Two-piece carrier for installation without removing or disassembling the driveshaft
  • Replaceable damping inserts
  • Variants: Street (TYT13A0-S), Track (TYT13A0-T), or both sets of inserts (TYT13A0-B)

Versions: Street, Track, or Both

  • Street: Firmer support than the factory part with better noise and vibration damping than the Track version.
  • Track: Harder inserts for vehicles consistently designed for track use. Drivetrain noise and vibration may be transmitted more noticeably into the cabin.
  • Both: One carrier with a full set of both Street and Track inserts. This allows you to try both variants and choose the setup that suits you best.

Installation Note

The original carrier must be cut and removed. Loose rubber residue is trimmed back; the base layer of rubber adhering directly to the bearing must remain. The JXB carrier is then installed around the factory bearing. This upgrade does not repair a worn ball bearing.

Installation

Thanks to its two-piece design, the JXB carrier can be installed without removing or disassembling the driveshaft. A suitable cutting tool is required to remove the original carrier.

  1. Gain access to the driveshaft center bearing.
  2. Carefully cut and remove the original carrier.
  3. Trim loose rubber residue with a sharp blade. The base layer of rubber adhering directly to the bearing must be preserved.
  4. Place the two-piece JXB carrier around the existing factory bearing and secure it.
