TEIN | Flex Z coilover suspension | GT86 BRZ I

Here we offer the classic Japanese suspension for the GT86 / BRZ I. The Tein Flex Z with parts certificate (and therefore legally drivable, you only need an approval or individual approval if, for example, other rims are installed).

The chassis is not only variably adjustable in height (front: -5 to -57mm / rear (9 to -93mm), but also offers you a total of 16 adjustment levels on the damper.

These are also accessible directly on the vehicle and can be adjusted in just a few minutes, from the country-road comfort of an S-Class to the racetrack stiffness of a GT3 RS. The dampers are even compatible with the Tein EDFC system, which allows these settings to be made digitally from the driver's seat using small actuators (not included).

The height adjustment ensures that the seat can be lowered to the TÜV-approved range without compromising comfort or everyday usability. The photo shows a Tein Flex Z installed within the permissible adjustment range.

A highlight are the adjustable front strut mounts. You can only get comparable ones from other manufacturers for three times the price. Our car has a very small adjustable camber range, especially at the front, from the factory. The strut mounts give you complete freedom of adjustment. For the rear, we recommend additional adjustable wishbones if necessary, to allow for better adjustment of the rear axle.

The spring rates are 6 kgf/mm front and rear and are made of SAE 9254 steel. The springs are powder-coated to protect them from rust and wear. Overall, the entire suspension is weatherproof and can withstand winter conditions.

Note: Please note that with a greater lowering, shortened tie rods and, if necessary, an adjusted height sensor for the headlight (rear left) must be installed to ensure full functionality. A pair of adjustable stabilizer links for the front are already included in the delivery.
