VERUS Engineering | Optimized triangular plate (weak point VFL manual transmission) | GT86 BRZ I

We are offering you the optimized "triangle plate" from Verus Engineering. This allows you to prevent/counteract the oil loss at the "triangle plate", which was a problem with the early FA20 engines (~12-15).

The problem was one of the teething issues and only affects vehicles from the first series with manual transmission and the pre-facelift! Improvements were made in later models and there is a component in this place in the automatic transmission, which is the only reason why there is this plate on the switch. Unfortunately, the plate is originally smooth and only has a liquid seal, which is prone to leaking and as a result oil can escape from the lower screw and drip onto the hot manifold.

The plate is a little difficult to see when installed, but it is worth checking on affected vehicles. You can find more information on this topic in the forum here.

The plate from Verus Engineering is optimally shaped and equipped with a reasonable O-seal.

In addition, the Verus Engineering plate offers the option of connecting an AOS (Air-Oil-Separator) system and introducing the return line of the separated oil and creating a pressure equalization. However, this is purely optional and if you don't have it (which will affect 95% of customers), it is sufficient to simply leave the pre-installed screw in.
